Lily now only licks the juice off her smooshy stuff. That's no surprise. What IS a surprise - and a complete annoyance - is that once she has done that, she begins digging at the cabinet where her food is stored because she wants more. Now, mind you, she has a full bowl of dry sitting out (which she eventually and begrudgingly eats), not to mention a full bowl of now slightly moist instead of completely mooshy food. Less than an hour ago, I gave her wet food and she's digging at the cabinet. Thoughts? _________________ http://i403.photobucket.com/albums/pp114/jetirey/DSCN0530.jpg |

Violet is the worst at that! She does the exact same thing.....except instead of digging at the cupboard....she taps me. tap tap tap tap tap, she's relentless until she gets more and by that time I give it to her, lol!
I have no advice or I'd use it myself. The only good thing about that here is it never goes to waste with so many cats that love it either way _________________ facebook |

I feed mine the "pate" style, and when I dump it out of the can, I mix the "gravy" into it so they can't just lick-n-leave like they do with the gravy style canned. _________________

Put her wet food into a shallow dish with a little water. Maybe she prefers to drink her food? _________________ You can fool some of the people some of the time, and that is sufficient. |

Annie doesn't like the chopped/chunky stuff, so she only gets the pate style. In her case, since she herself is a bit, ahem, chunky, I just put a little bit in the bowl, and smoosh it onto the sides of the bowl so she has to lick it off the sides. She seems to think she has more that way, and it also seems to somewhat prevent the snarf-n-barf that she does at times. _________________

heh heh...at last a name for what my little monsters do. They suck down thier food like they've not eaten in a week and then spew all over the floor, usually right where meowmie is apt to put her bare foot first thing in the morning..... _________________ Forget Caller ID....i'm waiting for Caller IQ.... |

| I don't know. Casey was like that and I just give him about a tsp. at a time. I've learned to put hot water in if the can of food has been refrigerated and he does a little better. Yeah, he was scarfing his food then vomiting wherever he pleased...that's why I only give him a teaspoon but anytime I go for the kitchen now, he pretends he is dying if I don't give him food every time I am there. He just started this and it is driving me ape-shit. |

| Once they think they have control....and they "know it all"...you're dead meat. I bought some jarred gravy, chicken and beef....and will add a bit if they do that.....and mush up the bits and pieces in it.....they usually will break down and eat it then. |
