What a glorious mullet!
I want to do this. Tell me more. My step-grandma was convinced I was an incredibly old soul, that I'd lived here on the earth for at least 10 cycles. I wonder.

Well there's not much more to tell really. I've always sort of thought that I'm an old-ish soul with a number of lifetimes behind me - mainly because, especially as a kid I knew things, and I never knew how I knew them - if you know what I mean.

The lady just did a hypnosis/guided meditation session and then started asking me questions like
1) where are you, does the place have a name
2) what are you wearing
3) are you male or female
4) about what age are you
5) about what time period do you think this is

then to describe what I'm doing, who I'm with, what are their names. And towards the end she'd say what have you learned from this life. And then she'd say time to move off and wait for the next one.

I sort of felt like I was in a grey place for a while and then off flying. And then start over. That went on for about 2 hours / 4 lives.

I still don't know - I think I'd like to try again with a different person helping me just to see if the results are similar just to confirm my findings.

I'm in the same spot, Shaza. Sometimes I think it's bullshit, and others it seems to make sense. I wonder if anyone does this in my area.

I was at a new age shop a few weeks ago shopping for some crystals, and the lady that owned it and I started chatting. I had already picked out a few crystals and a smudge stick made out of white sage. When I came up to the counter to pay for my purchases she asked me what I was using the sage for. I told it was an impulse purchase on my part, and that I was curious what it smelled like and I knew it was used to purify your house of negative energy, etc. She rang up the purchases and I paid for them.

Then she asked me a question that shocked me somewhat. "Do you have any black and white pets?" Shock I said, "Yeah, I have a black and white cat and a dog as well". She asked me a bunch of more questions about my dog, Wilbur. "Does he follow you around a lot", "Is he overly protective of you?", etc. Most of the questions I answered yes to. Kinda freaked me out a bit. To make a long story short, she basically told me that I had been an male Native American in another life, that Wilbur (my dog), had been my horse, and that we had died violently in battle, and that's why Wilbur is the way he is! I can't honestly say that I remember any of this, I can only tell you that she did strike a few nerves.

The story gets even weirder here. When I got home I lit up the smudge stick. My dog went absolutely nuts! He started barking at it and running around very excitedly. Made me think that maybe there was something to it after all. Especially when you consider that she knew nothing about me, yet managed to ask me the specific color of my pets. And, of course, Wilbur didn't know that we had just been talking about him, yet the smell of burning sage (which is something the Native Americans burn during ceremonies) sent him into a frenzy.

And to further add to the weirdness, my mom came to visit me a short time after that (she's a small percentage Cherokee), and she gave me a ring that she had bought in New Mexico at an Indian reservation when I was a little girl. I've always loved this ring, and had been bugging her to give it to me for years. Freaky, huh? Here's a pic of the ring she gave me.

What a beautiful ring!! I don't know much about "past life" stuff, but have some experiences where I have felt that certain places I was in I had known very well before - not the deja-vu thing either. We were in Japan on the grounds of the Royal Palace in Tokyo and were walking next to one of the oldest walls on the grounds (dating back a few centuries) when I suddenly got the feeling that I had been there before, and not as a Royal either. This was odd to me because my family history is purely Mediterranean European. I also got the same feeling when I was in Italy on the grounds of an ancient Greek temple (the Greeks had settled in southern Italy before the Romans took over) overlooking the sea. That feeling I understood - but both were enough to give me goosebumps.

^^^ ditto

I once had my cards read by a woman who claimed to have spirits guides hanging around - I got the impression there were 2 or 3 at least. She would be talking to me and then stop and listen and then say 'yes, just a minute, I'll tell her' or ' just a minute, I'll ask her'

That was a little weird - and she was pretty spot on too, spookily so

I've had similar feelings. Like when I first visited Germany or when I moved to England. Each time I felt like I had returned home.

Also, my mother-in-law has a story. When my nephew was born she thought - now I'll be a Southern matriarch and he'll call me grandmother, not grandma, or nana, but grandmother. When Drew started to talk he kept calling her, much to her dismay, YaYa. She told a friend - I don't know where he gets that. And her friend told her that her family was Greek and that YaYa was the affectionate way of saying grandma! So she's now convinced that at least she and Drew had a similar relation in a previous life in Greece.

I don't have knowledge of any past lives of my own, but Robin told me of several she had "discovered".

In years (centuries, millenniums) past, she was:

An autistic boy in Atlantis who drowned when the place sank.

An Indian warrior who slipped and fell into a stream (lake or some body of water) and also drowned.

Confederate General "Stonewall" Jackson. She reported feeling a great deal of negative energy when she visited the Chancellorsville battlefield, where Jackson was accidentally shot by his own troops, and where his amputated arm is buried.

I remain skeptical.

This interests me a lot..... I've been told I have an old soul & have frequent periods of deja vu Shock

I wonder if there is a way to find someone who could do that, PoP if they find 1 in Indy, I'm there! Very Happy

I have a feeling in 1 of my lives I died from a drug overdose or alcohol related death, because I try to avoid most drugs or Alcohol (in extremes)

Thanks! Funny thing is, when I was little I thought it was a chubby angel, not a spider. Laughing

I didn't tell you all about the last part of the story because I think it's a bit farfetched, but I think it's kinda funny so I'll share it with you.

After all the other stuff happened, my boss asked me to work at a store that I don't normally work at, because someone there had called off. While I was there my friend Wendy came to visit me (she lives nearby this particular store), and I told her everything that had happened. She laughed about it and started making jokes about how I was probably a knight in medieval times too. She's quite the smart-ass, my friend Wendy is. Laughing

Anyhow, she left, and I went about my business. After awhile, I decided to take a smoke break out the back of the store. I opened the back door and what I saw just about made me pee my pants with laughter. I took a picture of it to show Wendy later. First I have to explain a few things. The car that you see in the picture is NOT my car, but one that looks exactly like it. Color, make, model and probably the year too. My car was parked out front of the store. Here's the pic. It's pretty self-explanatory. Feel free to laugh. I certainly did!

Was also the wife of a doctor in Paris - 19th century I'm guessing.

so... those of you into this stuff.... have had a tarot reading on Friday. Lady confirmed these with a few more karmic carry-forward type details.... and added

Essene elder tribeswoman - healer - probably 1st lifetime

Indian girl - 1400s or thereabouts - forced into marriage died in childbirth (2nd) at age 16 - she says this is what put me off chlidren and childbirth this time aroudn

can't remember the other two off the top of my head - they're upstairs in bedroom with sleeping hubby

will add more tomorrow.... seriously - if things sound rubbishy to me then I say so - but when I hear a bell going off in my head of 'this is right' then I know it's right... she's good - it's creepy
